Mission Statement: More than 3.4 million people die each year from water, sanitation, and hygiene-related causes. Nearly all deaths, 99 percent, occur in the developing world. Despite a world of iPhones, space travel, and unprecedented wealth in America, there are still over 663 million people with no access to safe drinking water. Diarrhea caused by unsafe drinking water kills a staggering 2,195 children every day—more than AIDS, malaria, and measles combined. In Africa alone, women spend 40 billion hours each year collecting water.

The human body doesn’t care about the color of your skin or if you are rich or poor. Without water, we all die. You can survive without a toothbrush. You can survive without soap. But the absence of water is the absence of life.

At Neverthirst, we take a whole-body approach to the people we serve. Though we always begin with water, we also endeavor to teach good hygiene and the value of sanitation.

Clean water gives people the gift of time previously spent collecting water.

Clean water reduces disease that can lead to death.

Through people just like you, Neverthirst has provided 467,454 men, women and children with a safe water source. But while there remains 663 million without safe water, we still have work to do.
